Dr Andronicus works with South Sydney Vascular Centre in the management and treatment of varicose veins.
Her interest in varicose veins inspired her to take up a preceptorship with esteemed sclerotherapist and cosmetic physician Dr Suri Nair. She gained experience working both with Dr Nair, and alongside the highly experienced vascular surgeons at South Sydney Vascular Centre.
Working with Dr Gabrielle McMullin, vascular surgeon at South Sydney Vascular Centre, Miranda, Dr Andronicus offers patients the option of treating varicose veins non-surgically.
Dr Andronicus graduated with honours from the University of Sydney in 1998, and was awarded a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners after completing her residency and registrar training in Sydney and rural NSW.
She worked as a dedicated Sydney and rural general practitioner for many years before further focussing her professional training in the arenas of varicose vein management and cosmetic medicine.
Amongst several other professional development awards, she gained her Diploma of Cosmetic Medicine and was awarded a Fellowship with the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine. She was also accepted as a member of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia, the Australasian College of Phlebology and the New Zealand College of Procedural Phlebology.
“We plan the most appropriate treatment of varicose veins with accurate assessment and functional evaluation of blood flow.”
She is experienced in not only the non-surgical treatment of varicose veins, but also offers skilled management of spider veins and other surface veins. In addition to this, Dr Andronicus offers the full range of cosmetic treatments including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal filler procedures, skin rejuvenation, non-ablative laser and light-based therapies.
